The One Giant Leap Foundation has as its purpose to further global understanding and harmony through space development, exploration, commerce, and space resource utilization.  Space is the only domain with a flawless history of human cooperation where mankind, as represented by the space-faring nations, has always worked at its best, even while often fighting among themselves here on Earth.  Space has and continues to lead the way for humanity to create a vastly improved world by making use of countless space related-benefits, all of which already are and have the potential to continue transforming our lives right here on Earth.  The One Giant Leap Foundation wants to spread this understanding through education to others about this path to a world all of us want for our children and ourselves.  We recognized the ultimate value of space development and want to be able to provide this education to as many as possible and as far and wide as possible.  The One Giant Leap Foundation intends to be the catalyst for these educational efforts. 
 
As the One Giant Leap Foundation works towards its goal of space education, and as society moves toward a true space-faring culture and economy, we can see the day when peoples of all cultures will be working together in space to further prosperity and cooperative ventures with one another as we are already seeing happen with the space partners in the International Space Station (some of the International Space Station partners were one time enemies). Through the educational efforts and programs initiated by the One Giant Leap Foundation, we can expect to see our national and international space efforts create enhanced economic opportunities, scientific and medical discoveries that benefit all peoples of the world, and to move an all too often divergent group of terrestrial nations closer to realizing the benefits for all when harmony exists even among differences. 
 
The One Giant Leap Foundation, through it unique understanding of the real value and importance of space intends to be the leading organization promoting space development and exploration as an integral part of our culture, our economy, our country, our world, and our global dreams, where all nations unite in creating a thriving future through the enormous potentials afforded all of us by off-Earth opportunities.  While working to spread space education on a global basis, the One Giant Leap Foundation is committed to demonstrating and advancing integrity and responsibility both here on Earth and in our space activities.
 
The One Giant Leap Foundation is best suited for the 501C(3) status to obtain funding to carry out this work.  As a result of having already worked with space education based on the more than four years experience in hosting the radio talk show, The Space Show®, the truth of this statement has been realized albeit on a small scale.  As this radio program has evolved, reaching listeners in more than 50 countries, regular confirmation from listeners around the world is received regarding just how important space is to people everywhere when they understand what it has meant for human harmony and development.
